Justice was served this week when an appeals court favored Toby Price, a Mississippi assistant principal fired in 2022 for reading a silly children’s book to second grade students. More details below.

The superintendent who fired him has since retired. If the back pay came out of her retirement pension, maybe she wouldn’t have been so quick to jump to an “arbitrary and capricious” firing over something so ridiculous.
