I use cloud maps quite a bit in my homeschool. I think they are useful for organizing and synthesizing data. I designed my own cloud map graphic organizer for my kids years ago, and I’m now posting it here for my subscribers. If you want this free downloadable file, you just have to subscribe to receive the password to access the subscriber resources. To subscribe, enter an e-mail address where you receive e-mail in the black box on the right sidebar of this site. (Check out my privacy policy. I’ll never share your information, but do feel free to use an alias from a place like SimpleLogin. I totally would!)
This printable is minimalist and requires little ink if printed, but you could also download it for an app like Goodnotes on your iPad with a stylus.
Here is an example of one use for cloud maps.

My neurodivergent six-year-old is fascinated with Arkansas (it’s the fourth U.S. state alphabetically, and four is his favorite number), so he used an extra cloud map to organize noted Arkansans from his favorite book. (Self-led homeschooling . . . I didn’t give him this task as an assignment.)

Always keep learning,
