About

My name is Erin, and once upon a time, I was a certified English teacher for grades 6-12. I was 21 when I started teaching at my hometown high school. Unfortunately, I burned out quickly and quit to attend law school. I advocated for the rights of children in my law practice before closing that to homeschool my children. Today, I’m back in the education world, working on this site for homeschooling parents and teachers and participating in my local secular homeschooling group.

While the education system in the United States is being (and let’s be honest–it has always been) attacked from various forces, I see so much potential! I’m excited to build this site to help others educate all students, both inside and outside conventional classrooms.
